Step By Step Process To Solve Any Problem On Your Own..

art of problem solvingThere are few things you need to keep in mind while following the process.

  • Nobody expects that you will be knowing the answer, here you need to find the answer.
  • You are not expected to prove/justify your existence by explaining somebody how you solve the problem.
  • Never make any assumptions about any problem without research on it.
  • Do not make any assumptions about your knowledge on solving the problem.

Know About The Problem: Ask question what is the problem. Get a good idea about the problem. If you are solving someone's problem then ask him about the problem. Once you get a good idea about the problem then only jumpin to solve it.

Never give a immediate answer. If you get any clue then save it in your memory for future use.Check how many attempts are already done to solve it. Make a note of all the failed steps. Try to find out any consistency is there or not with the problem. Try to co-relate with any past problems which are similar kind and you had successfully solved.

Always question yourself what are you doing you may get a simple answer rather just wondering what would be the answer.

Try to recall or get details about till what it was OK and from when the problem started. Try to get all details about the changes done in this period between OK to problem. If possible verify the problem.

Analyze The Problem: You must get insight of the components which consists the problem.Try to understand the inter-relation between the components which consists the problem. If you can accurately replicate the symptoms of the problem then its likelihood that somebody had already encountered the same problem and solved it. You can check in local websites for the symptoms and solutions.

Researching about the problem is good idea to isolate the components which are not involved in causing the problem. Find one component at a time and isolate till you get the main component or multiple interrelated components which are suspicious to you.

Isolate the problem by testing each components one by one.Keep patience during this time as lots of people loose patience in testing one by one and always just miss  the actual component though it would be just the next component after the previous component  from where you started loosing your patience.Give all components same priority till you find the root component which is causing the problem.

If you cant remember each and every testing or aspects of problem causing components  then take a pen and paper and write down everything you observed, it will help you analyze the problemmore clearly.

simple way to fast analyze the problem is divide the problem where inter-relation between problem component is very weak.Once the problem spitted in half, test each part individually. If you find the problem in one part then leave the second one which had no problem and once again apply the same split rule to the half-part where you found the problem, do the same trick of splitting and searching till you find the root cause of the problem. One more way is peeling down the problem into lots of sub problems and analyzing each one at a time.

Resolve the problem: Once you find out the root cause of the problem its very easy to solve it. But before jumping in to solve it take a look at the possible solutions. If there is a workaround is there then implement it instead of a complete solution as it always saves time and energy. If you are going for a complete solution then check out for pros and cons of the solution. Keep in mind are you able to afford the solution or not. Always do a homework before trying to solve the problem. Make up your mind to follow the path and stick to the same path till you finish it. Keep peace and faith on yourself while trying out ways to solve the problem.

Once found the solution test it properly.followup and keep an eye on outstanding or arising issues.Be on the solving side rather than solved side till you are satisfied that problem is fixed.
